I’ve been thinking of giving my website a fresh coat of paint for the longest time, and the recently released Expose Pro theme by StudioPress gave me a good excuse to update the site design and also implement the Genesis framework on my site.
It’s not the first time I’ve used the Genesis framework, as I already use it on my fiancée’s website, but since I tinker with my personal site a lot more, I’m hoping that I’ll be able to learn more about the framework and have some fun at the same time.
In hindsight, I probably should have taken a screenshot of my previous site design (though it was just the standard WordPress TwentyTwelve and TwentyThirteen theme), but I guess I’ll chance upon a screenshot of it when I’m going through my old screenshots some day.
There are still some unfinished aspects of the site, such as customising the social sharing buttons, but I’ll get around to that over time. In the meantime, I’m having some fun increasing the Google+ integration on this site.
I hope you like the new design! Comments are feedback at welcome.
